Jherrymiah Go is a Filipino artist, born in the central region of the Philippines, specifically Visayas. She grew up entering singing and dance competitions in her hometown and in schools. At the age of 10, she moved to the United States knowing little to no English, and dance became an outlet that helped her through many obstacles in life. She’s a self-taught artist mainly in Hip-Hop. She was a member of an African dance company called “Adande” most of her high school years. She started training professionally in 2016, when she went to Coker University Specializing in Modern and Ballet. During her college years, she was announced the winner for the SCDA Scholarship in 2018. She taught classes for 3 consecutive years for Coker’s Annual Day of Dance. She also had the opportunity to dance for companies such as Ron K. Brown & Arcell Cabuag/ EVIDENCE, Lucky Plush Production, DANCENOW! MIAMI! And MufukaWorks in residencies. In December of 2020, She graduated from Coker University with a BFA in dance; Performance and Choreography. She is currently a dancer/choreographer for Baran Dance Company. Her goal is to seize every opportunity that comes her way and one day pay it forward for the dancers of the future.
