Kimya Imani Jackson

Kimya Imani Jackson- a midwestern Georgia peach based in Philadelphia- is a dancer, performance artist, Pochinko clown, and a PhD. trained Biobehaviorist who has performed in the works of the Leah Stein Dance Company (LSDC), Loren Groenendaal, Curt Haworth, Kim Bears- Bailey, Eng & Friends Dance Company, and Joy Mariama Smith. Kimya enjoys making quick snapshot artistic offerings that are thematic, thoughtful and zany, highlighting the extraordinary things in the ordinary. She is a REAP Artist-in-Residence at the Leah Stein Dance Company and Center for Deep Listening scholarship recipient.

Kimya Imani Jackson will be performing “Love Letters to Gas Stations” at Small Plates Austin 2024.
