
Julia Ramirez is a first-year BFA dance major at Rutgers University. She resides in Breinigsville, Pennsylvania and graduated from the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts where she concentrated in modern and ballet under the supervision of Kim Maniscalco. Last year she had the privilege of debuting her choreography at the 92nd St. Y in a teen emerging choreographers showcase, a guest artist at Moravian College, and performed at the National High School Dance Festival in Pittsburgh, PA. She plans to graduate from Rutgers University-Mason Gross School of the Arts with a BFA in dance and Masters in Dance Education. With this, she plans to pursue her passion for choreography and teaching.
Sophia Ricci is a first-year BFA dance major at Mason Gross School of the Arts. She lives in Caldwell New Jersey and graduated from James Caldwell High School. Her dance training began at Essex Dance Academy in Fairfield NJ. She has performed in works by Steven Blandino, KC Castellano, Niko Martinez, and Suzy Fischbach at events such as the Peridance APAP Showcase, Arts in Motion Invitational, and in numerous dance films. She plans to use her time in school to experiment and take risks with choreography. As she continues to grow, she focuses on how to project her voice as an artist through movement.
