Marissa graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance. She received the Mason Achievement Award 2011-2015 and the Kevin Campbell Summer Scholarship. She has performed with local NYC companies including Impact Movement Collective, Jessica Gaynor Dance, Vissi Dance Theatre (2 international tours) eSKay Arts Collective, and Bloodline Dance Theater. She is a Certified Exercise Fitness Specialist. She has taught all ages from 1-18 and is currently teaching for DMF Youth, a non-profit dedicated to serving the underprivileged children of Manhattan. She has choreographed for Mason Dance Company and Vissi Dance Theatre. She is honored to be a guest choreographer for eSKay Arts Collective and presenting at Small Plates Choreography Festival.
