Alex Bark is a senior at New Paltz High School. She has been a member of Barefoot Dance Center‘s Company since 2021, and has participated in Bates Dance Festival twice. Alex loves improvisation, contemporary dance, and composition, and has created 3 original pieces so far under the supervision of her teacher, Jessie Levey. Alex loves expressing herself through movement because it’s like another language; one that serves as a bridge of unspoken feeling and expression.
