
Sarah Lapinsky is a dancer and choreographer currently based in NYC. Originally from Stowe, VT, she recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from the SUNY Purchase Conservatory of dance with her BFA in performance with a composition concentration and a minor in Arts Management. While at school, she was selected to perform works by Doug Varone, José Limón, Nejla Yasemin Yatkin, Sue Bernhard, Barak Marshall, and Dylan Crossman. Additionally, she was able to create many dance works while also choreographing for the Conservatory of Theatre Arts in their productions of The Antigone Project, The Bacchae of Euripides, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Her latest film work, “Plastic Plates Don’t Break” was recently featured in the 92Y Mobile Dance Film Festival for which she was reviewed to be a “promising choreographer” by the NY Times. Her film has also been included in the DANCE SHORTS film festival and her newest dance work will premiere in November at Green Space in LIC.
