Alyssa Guardino

Alyssa began her dance training at the age of 2.  She started competing at the age of 7.  Beyond her home studio, High Definition Dance in New Windsor NY, she has attended classes at Broadway Dance Center, the American Academy of Ballet and multiple dance conventions around the country.
She was selected as a semi finalist in a national dance competition to perform on the Walt Disney Beauty and The Beast Stage at the age of 12.   Alyssa was also recognized for exceptional dance technique at a national dance convention held by Dance Olympus and asked to perform the choreography in a small showcase for the rest of the attendees.  She has also been the recipient of various judges awards.
Most recently Alyssa was selected to join the staff at the American Dance Training Camp in Vermont as a counselor in training.  Among her duties as a CIT, Alyssa did many demonstrations for the campers.    Alyssa’s newest project includes student choreography for the upcoming dance season, and partnering work.
When Alyssa is not dancing she enjoys volunteering with the Coldenham’s woman’s Auxiliary where she has helped organized many children’s holiday parties.
Alyssa is an inaugural member of the Haven Movement Ensemble, a pre-professional performance ensemble that works and creates alongside Haven Movement Company
