Betty Skeen holds a BA in dance from Sweet Briar College and an MFA in choreography from the University of Maryland, College Park. Her choreography has received two MetroDC Dance Awards and has been selected for performance at the American College Dance Festival gala. She was recently invited back to Sweet Briar College as Visiting Assistant Professor. She is a performer and collaborator with PearsonWidrig Dance Theater and Haven Movement Company.
