
Joan Bradford, born, raised, and still residing in the Bronx, NY, is a graduate of Long Island University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with her BFA in Dance and minor in Theatre with awards in excellence in choreography. Joan has performed with KamrDance, Mary-Kate O’Toole Choreography, Praevado Dance Collective, Mise en Danse, and Haven Movement Company through out NYC in an array of venues including Citi Group Theatre, Symphony Space, Dixon Place, and The Brookfield Place to name a few. Joan has shown her own work at the American College Dance Festival, Hunter College’s Kaye Playhouse, Socrates Sculpture Park, Triskelion Arts, and the Old First Reformed Church. Most recently, Joan traveled to Lewes, England where she completed a choreographic residency with Lost Dog Dance Theatre. Currently, Joan is a teaching artist with the Coalition of Hispanic Family Services at P.S 123, The Bronx House & Villa Maria Academey. Additionally, she is an associate at WAXworks (Williamsburg Arts Nexus) and a box office associate at Triskelion Arts. Joan is excited to continue creating, moving, and exploring while seeing where her love of movement will take her!
