Jordan Miller (she/her) is a freelance dancer and choreographer newly-based in Austin, TX, after a decade of dancing and creating in New York City. Originally from Fort Wayne, IN, Jordan moved to New York in 2011 to study at the School of American Ballet and, in 2013, joined the New York City Ballet. After two years with the company, she began freelancing, in NYC and beyond, with Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, Ballet Vero Beach, Gabrielle Lamb, Caili Quan and more. Jordan serves as co-director of konverjdans (pronounced “converge-dance”), a contemporary ballet company she co-founded in 2016 with Amy Saunder and Tiffany Mangulabnan. konverjdans is committed to converging dance with other art forms to celebrate the unique backgrounds and experiences of their collaborators, having produced over 30 dance-works in partnership with more than 65 artists in venues across New York, Indiana, Florida and Colorado. Jordan’s choreographic work spans ballet, contemporary dance, site-specific work, and film. In addition to choreographing for konverjdans, her choreography has been featured in WestFest: All Over (2024), Riverside Dance Festival (2022), Austin Dance Festival: Dance on Film (2025), Lady Filmmakers Festival (2022), and Berlin Indie Film Festival (2021).
