Just as jazz music is characterized by breaking traditional boundaries, JSDC’s work pushes the limits of the body while maintaining a high level of technique. As Ms. Baltes once said, “We find freedom in the form.” Jazz Spectrum Dance Company is grounded in the essence of humanity, embracing movement that transcends gender and believes that movement is a reflection of one’s inner self. The company’s mission is to empower others through historical preservation, diversity, and innovation.

Jazz Spectrum Dance Company’s performances have captivated audiences worldwide, earning them recognition for their precision and strength. Their stage work has been featured in numerous festivals, including the SoCal Dance Invitational, Inland Empire Dance Festival, Orange County Dance Festival, Rocky Mountain Choreography Festival, LA Dance Invitational, and Red Rock Dance Festival, among others.
