Michelle Hayes is a dancer, choreographer, teacher and arts administrator in the DMV area. She is the program manager for Dance Metro DC and a company member of Next Reflex Dance Collective. Michelle started dancing at a young age and continued through studying at Keene State College graduating with a BA in Theatre and Dance with a concentration in Performance and Choreography. Since graduation she has performed as a guest artist for Jody Oberfelder, darlingdance, ClancyWorks, UpRooted and choreographed for Fieldwork. Her artistic voice expresses human emotions, being present, a process of the unconscious human connections and life experiences through movement. She is inspired by the world around her, the beauty of people, places and the connection with her mind, heart and soul.
