Karolina Holmstrom is currently in her fourth year as a BFA dance major at Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts. Originally from Parsippany, NJ, Karolina attended the Morris County School of Technology under the direction of Ruth Clark and graduated in 2015. At Rutgers, she has worked with choreographers and artists such as Cleo Mack, Netta Yerushalmy, Randy James, David Torres, Blair Ritchie, Pam Tanowitz, Jade Salzano, Charly Santagado, Ani Javian, and Lauren Grant of the Mark Morris Dance Group. Her group work, Witness Mark (2018) and solo piece, Drink Me (2018) have both been performed in student concerts at Rutgers. Karolina has also studied at several intensives including Rutgers Dance Conservatory, Bates Dance Festival, Bates/Gibney Connect, and ACDA. In 2016, she received her 200HR vinyasa yoga teaching certification through Om Factory and now teaches private clients. Karolina currently dances with mignolo dance (Artistic Director Charly Santagado) and 78moves (Artistic Director Jade Salzano) in both repertory works and dance films.
