Ntrinsik Movement is an emerging dance company, Co-Founded in July 2014 by five dancers: Kenya Gibson, Michelle Isaac, Anastacia Julian, Freyani Patrice, and Montana Sholars. The name “Ntrinsik” is taken from the word “Intrinsic” meaning “movement that comes from within.” Ntrinsik has performed in various theaters such as Symphony Space, The Ailey Citigroup Theater, Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts, Salvatore Capezio Theater at Peridance and several others.
Ntrinsik believes in and practices the diversity of dance, blending various dance styles such as Afro-Modern, Contemporary Ballet, and Jazz to create and produce original works. Their zeal for the performing arts is showcased through their performance, choreography, instruction, and service to the community.
